Ask Faculty

Ask Faculty lets attendees submit questions for session speakers. Organizers can use it for moderated Q&A and speaker engagement.

Setup​

Confirm sessions and faculty records exist before using Ask Faculty. Faculty records help attendees tag the right speaker when asking questions.

Managing Questions​

Attendees can post questions from the mobile app. Questions can include faculty tags and can receive votes. Organizers should monitor questions during active sessions and remove inappropriate content if needed.

Answers​

Answers can be shown in the mobile app when the workflow is used for written responses. Questions and answers can support voting actions depending on the mobile flow.

Presenter Use​

Use presenter mode when questions need to be displayed to a moderator, chair, or audience screen.

Attendee Support Notes​

  • Ask Faculty requires the attendee to be signed in.
  • Attendees select a session, view questions, ask a question, optionally tag faculty, and open answers.
  • If a user cannot post, confirm they are logged in and have selected the correct event and session.
