Quiz, Polls, and Live Quiz

The Quiz/Polls area lets attendees participate in organizer-created quizzes, polls, and real-time live quizzes.

Quiz and Poll List​

The list can show quizzes and polls for the selected event or program. It supports search, pull-to-refresh, and item state indicators.

Standard Quizzes​

Standard quizzes show progress, required markers, single-choice or multiple-choice options, option images, previous/next navigation, and submit behavior.

Polls​

Polls can allow one or multiple options depending on setup. Some polls show results only after the attendee votes. Results can include percentages and response counts.

Session Polls​

Session cards can link to polls. One linked poll opens directly. Multiple linked polls open a list for that session.

Live Quiz​

Live quiz participation happens over websocket. The host controls when the quiz starts, which question is active, when answers lock, when results show, when leaderboard appears, and when the quiz ends.

Mobile states can include:

  • Waiting for host.
  • Connecting.
  • Reconnecting.
  • Live question.
  • Answer submitted or locked.
  • Results.
  • Leaderboard.
  • Ended.

Organizer Support Notes​

  • Live quiz attendees must be signed in.
  • Ask attendees to keep the live quiz screen open during the session.
  • If a user disconnects, the app attempts to reconnect and shows a reconnecting banner.
  • If answers are locked, the attendee must wait for the host to advance.
  • If an attendee cannot join, confirm the correct event/session, login state, and network access.
